Position Information : Support position to the night warehouse operations
Primary Contribution to Amoskeag Beverages :
- Transport materials from designated product stock areas in warehouse to the picking floor
- Maintain product levels and drop pallets as needed in a timely manner
- Maintain clear aisles and a clean work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
Duties and Responsibilities :
Coordinate with selectors to replenish out of stockCheck out of code dates when restocking - rotating stock properly by replenishing with the oldest product firstCut and remove plastic from pallets for ease of operationAssist with building Club Orders as directedRemove and stack empty palletsMove pallets of breakage to the designated areaPerform daily equipment checks to ensure proper functioningCommunicate and record equipment damage, needed maintenance or repairsOther various projects assigned by managerQualifications :
High School diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious warehouse, forklift, or pallet jack experience a plusHigh degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environmentMotivated, hard-worker that can take direction and work independentlyAble to execute tasks in an accurate, timely and safe manner while working in a fast-paced environmentAble to pass Forklift Operations Certification per OSHA StandardsAble to lift up to 160 lbs (kegs and / or cases)Working Conditions & Physical abilities :
Warehouse Environment- ability to work in varying temperatures with dust and noiseAble to sit on a forklift for long periods of time and can adjust body position to reach, stand, kneel, bend, push, pull, or climb up and downGood eye-hand-foot coordinationAbility to assess weight and judge distances and heightsJob Title : Night Warehouse Forklift Operator
