Amotec is currently recruiting for Machine Operators in the Mentor, OH area. These roles are with our client, a leader in Electrical Connectors Manufacturing. In this role, you will operate machinery that works on metal. Individuals who have operated machinery that cuts metal are encouraged to apply. This Role Offers : Pay Rate : $20-$25 / Hour2nd and 3rd ShiftMedical and Dental Insurance401KVacation and Holiday PayCross-Training and AdvancementJob Description : Set-up and install tooling on machines.Adjust the machine to ensure parts are run per specification.Operate the machine.Offload the machine and perform basic quality control before submitting to QC.Perform essential finishing duties such as tumbling parts, deburring, and polishing.Maintain machine and perform basic troubleshooting and repair as required.Assist in other areas of the facility as needed.Other Requirements and Skills : High School Diploma or GED.Minimum 2 years machine operation experience.Experience operating a machine that cuts metal REQUIRED.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.Ability to read micrometers, calipers, and other gauges.Strong mechanical aptitude.Basic computer and mathematics skills.
