Position Overview:
- This role is responsible for the daily processing of resale escrow transactions. We seek a highly skilled escrow officer who excels in handling high volumes and possesses outstanding customer service skills.
- The ideal candidate will be highly motivated to grow with the business while consistently delivering the highest level of professional customer service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate daily escrow processes, files/documentation, and closings and ensure the proper preparation and execution of documents and balances necessary for completing sales and mortgage transactions.
- Process new escrow transactions and documents following established policies and procedures, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and enforcing necessary compliance standards.
- Complete real estate escrow transactions by determining requirements, clearing titles, assembling, preparing, and reviewing closing documents, and disbursing funds.
- Prepare transaction documents by filling out forms and statements, as well as collecting and reviewing existing documents.
- Finalize closings by recording and filing documents, and preparing and distributing final closing statements.
- Prepare settlement statements by following lender instructions and the TRID process, ensuring accurate closing, balancing, and disbursing of funds.
- Provide Notary Services with precision and professionalism.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by cultivating trust and rapport with clients and industry partners.
- Work collaboratively with a dynamic team while also excelling independently.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two year's experience as an Escrow Officer with your own book of business (preferred)
- Strong computer skills; must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, and Outlook
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Expertise in closings and escrow management.
- Strong knowledge of residential real estate transactions.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, including presentation skills and the ability to work as a member in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently under pressure.
- Ability to occasionally work extra hours during peak times of the month.
- High level of integrity, self-motivation, attention to detail, strong aptitude for figures, and superb organizational abilities.
- Prior experience in escrow or real estate (a strong plus!).
- Notary Public certification (highly desirable).
Location & Flexibility
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Beverly Hills, CA. While some remote work flexibility is offered, the ideal candidate will enjoy working in the office to help maintain our collaborative and client-focused culture.
