Project Manager-Electrical Equipment
AMP Industrial Services is a privately owned company formed by individuals with over 70 years of combined experience in the manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of industrial electrical equipment. Our goal is to place the customer first while providing quality OEM/Custom Equipment, engineering, and installation services. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our growing team.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Project Manager-Electrical Equipment who will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of various projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing field and manufacturing projects, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of project management best practices.

Qualifications:
- Associate degree in technical field, Project Management Certification, BA/BS in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be qualifying.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong Computer Skills including - MS-Project, Office.
- Successful track record in project management of multiple projects, executed in parallel
- Excellent customer-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and high-level multitasking skills
- Strong mechanical, science, analytical/problem solving skills and high math aptitude
- Electrical Knowledge would be a plus
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates the ability to coordinate projects from the initial request phase to the completion
- Communication with the customer and ability to close out a project finalizing all of the necessary deliverables required for the project
- Must have the ability to read engineered drawings and specifications as well as help in the development of drawings and specifications.
- Must be self-directed in order to plan and manage multiple projects with little oversight
- Leading the planning and implementation of projects, ensuring that all deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and according to scope.
- Interfacing with external vendors and internal production areas to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Identifying and managing project risks, issues, and dependencies, and developing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Coordinating cross-functional teams, including internal departments and external vendors, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitoring project budgets, expenses, and resource allocations, and making adjustments as necessary to optimize project performance.
- Communicating project status, updates, and key milestones to customers, stakeholders, and senior management through regular reports and presentations.
- Conducting post-project reviews and evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
Salary:
- Salary at $60,000 - 75,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

- Excess Straight Time pay for work over 40hrs/week
