Job Summary
The Warehouse Coordinator has overall responsibility for the day-to-day activities of the warehouse facility. The position oversees all operations related to material storage, facility maintenance, organization, receiving, order fulfillment, inventory control, and shipments to and from our customers. This position requires working with retailers, suppliers, delivery companies, and repair companies. The Warehouse Coordinator also has responsibility for receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of Government Furnished Material (GFM). The Warehouse Coordinator ensures that workplace health and safety requirements are met and is responsible for the security of the building and stock. The coordinator ensures productivity targets are met and maintains computerized administration and automated storage and retrieval systems.

- Oversees the daily workflow of the warehouse; schedules and organizes staff to ensure proper staffing of all shifts.
- Hires and trains new warehouse employees.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Skilled at time management for multiple projects simultaneously
- Experienced at compiling and following strict budgets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Accurate and precise attention to detail
- Goal-oriented and organized leadership
- Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal DOT code regulations
- Ensures efficient warehouse operations through collaboration and coordination with other departments.
- Researches, identifies, and presents new ideas to improve warehouse operations.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
- Thorough understanding of applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Software Programs
- High School Diploma
- 3 years' direct experience in warehouse management or in a similar indirect experience in management
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse.
