What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inspection and Quality Team Member position at Ampac Holdings, LLC?
What You'll Do
You will be responsible for inspecting bags thoroughly for defects and discoloration. This includes pulling hands of bags onto an inspection table and checking for open ends, doubles, triples, crocked folds, turn backs, turn under, loosely sealed folds, improper sized gussets, and lack of anti-skid or lacquer. You will also need to discard any poor-quality bags and notify the Bottomer Operator if there are any problems.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
- The ability to bend, twist, and kneel.
- The ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- The ability to stand continuously for 2-3 hours.
- The ability to perceive colors.
- Manual dexterity.
