Job Description: Bag Inspector
The Bag Inspector is responsible for inspecting bags for quality and defects at our Rosemount, MN facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pull hands of bags onto inspection table and inspect them by flipping through bags, looking for open ends, doubles, triples, crooked folds, turn backs, turn under, loosely sealed folds, improper sized gussets, and lack of anti-skid or lacquer.
- Set aside a hand of bags at the beginning of an order or when needed to replace those periodically checked and torn down.
- Discard any poor-quality bags.
- Reclaim bags using a glue gun.
- Notify the Bottomer Operator if there is a continual problem.
- Count and record the number of bags stacked on each pallet for shift and turn it into the Bottomer Operator.
- Assist other inspectors by sweeping and inspecting when all work in the area is complete.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by management to ensure continuity of production.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
- Ability to bend, twist, and kneel.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand continuously for 2 – 3 hours.
- Ability to perceive colors.
- Must have manual dexterity.
