Ampco Pumps is a fast-growing manufacturer of centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps and mixing & blending equipment used in the food and dairy industries, desalination, and various chemical and industrial applications.
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled ERP & IT Systems Coordinator to join our team. This role combines responsibilities in maintaining and enhancing the ERP system while also managing IT infrastructure and providing user support. This role is required on-site and is not eligible for hybrid or remote work.
Duties/Responsibilities
ERP System:
- Maintain the ERP system, including databases, user accounts, and document imaging.
- Analyze business needs to develop tools and solutions that enhance workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system, hardware, software, and user access issues.
- Ensure system alignment with company policies and business rules.
- Provide user support and training to optimize system usage.
Information Technology:
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software across the organization.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system security.
- Assist employees with technical issues, password resets, and application support.
- Develop and deliver training materials for new software and systems.
- Manage IT assets, including equipment, software, and contracts, ensuring compliance.
- Coordinate with vendors for system maintenance, repairs, and contracts.
- Assist in implementing and deploying new IT projects.
- Enforce IT security policies and ensure data privacy compliance.
- Contribute to IT budget planning and resource optimization.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of ERP solutions and SQL database systems.
- Knowledge of general network operating systems and architecture.
- Excellent analytical skills for data collection, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Proficient in operating systems (MS Windows, Server), networking protocols, basic hardware troubleshooting and common software applications (MS Office).
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Skilled in diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently.
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and prioritization abilities.
- Proven track record of providing excellent user support and timely issue resolution.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1-3 years experience in similar role, including internships.
- Certifications in IT support, network management, or ERP systems are a plus.
