Evaluations, Assessments, & Response (SPEAR) team is seeking an experienced Data Engineer (DE) to join our Data and Analytics (DnA) division to support the growth and expansion of our business solutions as we scale to support new lines of business across.
As a DE, you will design and implement robust data solutions that automate, scale, and enable various service teams across the SPEAR business. To be successful in this role, you must have familiarity with with internal tools and services (through prior experience) and proficiency with AWS related services, including Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, Lambda, Airflow / Step Function, IAM, etc. Your contributions will reduce time to market for new workflows, enable real-time decision making, and reinforce the rhythm of this rapidly evolving business.
Responsibilities
- Design and build robust, scalable data pipelines to collect, process, and transform complex datasets for analytical and operational purposes
- Develop and optimize Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes to ensure seamless, high-quality data integration
- Implement and maintain data integrity validation techniques to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems
- Facilitate in data gap analysis and stitching / blending exercises
- Provide fact-based insights into variances and trends through reporting and data visualization
- Create and maintain documentation for data pipelines, workflows, and processes as changes are realized
- Communicate changes, enhancements, and new features effective to data consumers and stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for improving the customer experience
