Job Description:
Amped Up Power Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced VAC Pump Operator to join our dynamic team. The VAC Pump Operator will be responsible for rigging up and operating our fleet of electric vacuum pumps. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and safe execution of drill-out and frac operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with vac pumps, and strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rig Up and Rig Down: Efficiently rig up and rig down electric VAC pumps at frac and drill-out sites in accordance with company protocols and safety standards.
- Operation: Operate and monitor VAC during drill-out operations, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to operational parameters.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on pumps and associated equipment to ensure operational readiness and prevent downtime.
- Safety: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and report any safety hazards or incidents immediately.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical and operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions to operations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of operations, including equipment performance, fluid usage, and any incidents or anomalies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other field personnel to coordinate and execute work effectively.
- Unsupervised work: Ability to work safely and perform all job functions with minimum supervision.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 to 3 years of oil and gas experience.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of hydraulics and electrical power systems.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance.
- Communication: The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work in physically demanding environments and handle equipment and tools safely.
- Availability: Willingness to work long hours, including nights and weekends, and travel to various job sites as needed.
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation.
- Rotation: 14/7
