Responsibilities :
- Lead design, implementation, and optimization of firmware for embedded Linux systems, ensuring it meets functional and performance requirements
- Participate in and lead code reviews to maintain code quality and adhere to coding standards
- Identify, debug, and resolve software issues, optimizing code for size, speed, and power efficiency
- Work closely with hardware teams to integrate firmware with new or existing hardware components
- Write and execute unit tests, participate in integration testing, and support system-level testing
- Maintain and update technical documentation including design specifications, code comments, and user manuals
- Work with other engineers to solve complex problems, share knowledge, and ensure project milestones are met
- Stay updated with new technologies, tools, and methodologies in embedded systems
