Senior Product Manager, Solid State Transformer Systems

Responsibilities:
- Be the voice of the customer, ensure we prioritize the most important customer problems to drive maximum value. Collaborate with engineering on product development of new products and pipeline
- Lead market/customer research of pain points to build product use cases, requirements, documentation and inform engineering, compliance, and supply chain
- Create a product roadmap for Solid State Transformer systems hardware and software that results in customer delight and maximum growth of quality product deployment
- Define and deliver an advanced AI based software product vision, strategy, roadmap
- Define figures of merit to measure customer satisfaction and product performance specification value, and use these to drive the product portfolio and inform our teams on optimal optimization of their work for customer impact
- Inspire by projecting the product vision to internal and external stakeholders
- Create and own product datasheets and manuals to ensure application and installation success
- Validate that delivered solutions solve intended business objectives against metrics
Qualifications:
- Technical degree or equivalent experience in electrical power products
- 4 years' experience in product management/development including customer engagement focus, value proposition development, and power product requirement development with evidence of exceptional impact
- Exceptional experience working with Sales, Design Engineering, Supply Chain, Applications and Project Engineering to drive harmonized and efficiently executed solutions for the customer
- Evidence of delivering highly technical power, electronics, and software products with clear collection of customer needs and pain points. Driving customer needs to concise product roadmaps with feature rankings by first principles-based value/impact
- Entrepreneurial mindset with clear bias for informed action and leading new initiatives with limited resources and support
- Significant understanding of electrical, mechanical, and civil works engineering for industrial installations including power circuits, protection systems, backup systems, SCADA, metering, thermal design, site installation needs, commissioning, and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to discover patterns in larger data and metrics, and drive to decisions/approaches and tracking of product success from this analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communications in English with all stakeholders
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% including internationally
