Position Overview

Ampersand Solutions Group, Inc., is seeking an experienced Program Integrator to support its Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) mission at Ft Huachuca, AZ. The successful candidate will play a critical role in integrating advanced communications and sensor systems—specifically Radio Frequency Analysis, waveforms, and radar systems—into MDO platforms. This role supports the operational objectives of the US Army and Joint Warfigther, contributing directly to enhanced situational awareness and mission effectiveness across multiple domains.


Key Responsibilities

  • Program Integration & Systems Engineering:
    • Lead and coordinate the integration of RF systems, waveforms, and radar technologies into existing and next-generation MDO platforms.
    • Develop and implement system integration plans ensuring adherence to applicable standards and operational requirements.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, interface designs, and interoperability standards.
  • Technical Analysis & RF Expertise:
    • Conduct detailed radio frequency (RF) analysis and waveform assessments to evaluate system performance and compliance with US Army and Department of Defense (DoD) standards (e.g., MIL-STD-188, MIL-STD-461, and relevant IEEE standards).
    • Analyze and troubleshoot radar system performance in both laboratory and field environments.
    • Provide technical leadership during the testing, validation, and deployment phases of RF and radar systems.
  • Compliance & Standards Management:
    • Ensure all integrated systems comply with applicable industry and military standards, including those specific to multi-domain operations.
    • Reference and apply applicable standards and platforms such as Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS), Software-Defined Radios (SDR), and advanced radar systems employed in MDO environments.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and evolving standards that affect MDO capabilities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Serve as the primary technical liaison between the program office, industry partners, and government agencies.
    • Support the development of system requirement documents, test plans, and technical risk assessments.
    • Communicate technical findings and integration strategies to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise:
    • Demonstrated experience in Radio Frequency Analysis, waveform generation/analysis, and radar system integration.
    • Proven background in systems engineering with a focus on communications and sensor integration in defense or related industries.
    • Familiarity with platforms and standards used in MDO missions, such as JTRS, SDR architectures, and multi-sensor fusion systems.
  • Security Clearance:
    • Must currently hold an active security clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI clearance.
  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is required.
    • Advanced degrees or equivalent experience are strongly preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of progressive relevant experience in systems integration within a defense or high-technology environment.
    • Experience working with US Army or DoD programs, particularly within Multi-Domain Operations or similar operational contexts, is highly desirable.
  • Other Competencies:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication, coordination, and project management abilities.
    • Ability to work effectively in dynamic, cross-functional teams and adapt to evolving mission requirements.
