Come work with a woman and therapist run company! Ampersand Therapy is looking for a Bilingual School Social Worker in the White Bear Lake, MN area.
Job Details:
- Full-time, in-person
- Bilingual: Spanish-speaking required
- Support multiple elementary schools
- Assist students and support families by providing strategic services that address the social-emotional-environmental issues that may interfere with the educational process.
- Implement strategies that promotes students’ learning, positive school adjustment and creates meaningful relationships
- Related work as apparent or assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (Master's degree preferred)
- Licensed in MN by the Board of Social Work.
- Current license as a School Social Worker issued by the Professional Educator Licensing Standards Board (PELSB) or eligible to receive a Tier 3 or 4 license.
- Preferred: Experience with school social work or previous work experience in child and family-related service fields
