Come work with a woman and therapist run company! Ampersand Therapy is looking for paraeducators for the 2024-2025 school year! We are looking for full time candidates. We are looking for candidates that can help support instruction, follow behavior plans and support students when in the general education classroom.

Responsibilities:

- Start date: as soon as possible
- In-person position, full time
- Experience working with children with behavioral challenges required
- Provide support and supervision to children with autism or other behavioral challenges.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Applicants should have the following physical requirements:

• Occasionally: sit/stand, reach above shoulder level, stoop/bend, climb stairs, perform repetitive arm/hand motion including fingering/pinching;
• Occasionally/Frequently: lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs., push/pull, twist, squat/crouch;
• Frequently/Continuously: lift and/or carry up to 10 lbs.
• Continuously: handle/grasp.

Qualifications:
-In person candidates only
- Previous school experience highly preferred
- Applicant must hold an Associate degree (AA)
-Previous behavior experience required
- Applicant must pass criminal background check
