The Role -
Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Quality Technician to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY .
The successful candidate will support quality functions including but not limited to RMA and rejection investigation and disposition, customer support, customer quality documentation, and monitor quality location inventories.
The key responsibilities of a Quality Technician include, but are not limited to :
- Daily manufacturing floor support
- Technical support of customer quality issues / escapes in relation to RMA's.
- Product review and assist QE with disposition, containment, and work orders.
- Ability to communicate with customers via phone and email.
- Support of corrective action responses based on customer escape issues and data.
- Maintain a working knowledge of product workmanship standards & quality procedures manual.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specs, and documents.
- Determine rework and process work orders.
- Review of rejection trends and proactive problem-solving skills.
Salary : $42,000 - $65,000
