Materials Manager

Due to our continuous expansion, we're seeking talented individuals to strengthen our team. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Materials Manager at our current Brockton MA location which will be moving to a new, modernized facility in Stoughton MA in the next few weeks.

Job Summary: Responsible for ensuing material is available for production from receipt through stock. The Materials Manager will also be responsible for analyzing production requirements and sales dollars for Brockton location and reporting any shortfalls that may occur prior to the current month. The Materials Manager will also create and maintain inventory levels that meet the corporate guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Evaluate suppliers based upon delivery of products or service, price and quality.
• Directs production and inventory control; shipping and receiving; and material storage.
• Maintains inventory levels within specified guidelines.
• Ensures OTD.
• Identify opportunities to reduce material costs.
• Track material scrap and help to eliminate and reduce.
• Performs other related duties.
• Some business travel is required.

Experience and Education:

• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Works well with all levels of management and staff.
• Knowledge of HTS Codes and USMCA.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
• Leadership experience as well as good communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including ERP systems and MS Office with proficiency in Excel.
