Material Handler

Job Summary Performs receiving functions and related sub-functions for the raw material warehouse. Primary duties to include loading and unloading raw materials received or shipped out of the facility, verify incoming receipts, supplying samples to QA receiving for testing as well as related documentation, process Epicor transfers and material issues for the previous shift, process Punch Press inventory return to stocks, coordinate metallic scrap recycling pickups, assist in processing freight damaged claims, and perform daily Cycle count duties. Secondary duties are to assist in the inbound receiving Tech and assist the Components Warehouse staffing as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Leads. Job Responsibilities Preform receiving functions on incoming raw material. Load and unload raw materials received in or shipped out. Verify receiving documentation and resolve discrepancies. Supply samples of raw materials received into warehouse to QA Receiving Inspection. Process Epicor material issues and transfers as needed. Process returns to stocks on PPO Pinch Press inventories. Coordinate metallic recycle pickups. Perform daily Cycle Count duties. Assist in processing damaged freight claims. Assist in the Inbound Receiving Tech and/or the Components Warehouse as needed. Must work with the EHS department to ensure all local, state, and federal regulatory agencies requirements are met; OSHA, NFPA, DNR, EPA and Amphenol sustainability practices. Must work with the Quality department to ensure all quality standards are met for AS9100 certification. Comply with company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.  Requirements Education: High School Diploma or GED Certified for forklift through Positronic. Must have a valid, State issued driver’s license before forklift certified at Positronic. May be required to obtain Class E driver’s license. Passage of appropriate testing to advance in ABC certification program Physical: Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. frequently.
