Production Control Specialist

Job Summary As a Production Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in orchestrating and optimizing our manufacturing processes to meet shipping dates in alignment with sales forecasts and customer orders. This dynamic position involves drawing up schedules, analyzing production specifications, and collaborating with various departments to ensure efficient workflow. Your responsibilities will include planning and sequencing fabrication, assembly, and installation operations, as well as actively addressing and resolving challenges that may impact production schedules. Job Responsibilities Draws up schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data to determine manufacturing processes and tools Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions Prepares production reports Prepares lists of required materials, tools, and equipment Must work with the EHS department to ensure all local, state, and federal regulatory agencies requirements are met; OSHA, NFPA, DNR, EPA and Amphenol sustainability practices. Must work with the Quality department to ensure all quality standards are met for AS9100 certification. Comply with company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.    Requirements Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. 2 to 3 years’ experience OR An equivalent combination of education and experience. Passage of appropriate testing to advance in ABC certification program. Physical: Ability to lift to 25 lbs., occasionally. Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stooping, twist, reach, reach overhead. Shift: First (Monday - Friday at 7:00am - 3:30pm).  Knowledge: English Language — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
