About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement mechanical structures and products, focusing on aerospace and industrial connector contacts.
- Develop manufacturing processes according to global engineering codes and standards.
- Manage engineering projects and deliver them on time.
- Collaborate with customers and team members to define product needs and requirements.
- Evaluate installations and applications to ensure alignment with customer needs and safety standards.
- Research and create new applications and processes.
- Analyze data and report on test results.
- Maintain functionality of Process and/or Product Development Engineer duties in assigned areas.
- Examine needs for new equipment, calculate costs, and contribute to budget preparation.
- Continuously improve company products and processes.
Supervisor Responsibilities
Oversight and management of a team to ensure effective performance, job satisfaction, and contribution to individuals' career goals.
Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess certain qualifications and skills. The following are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in engineering roles, with a track record of successful project management.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Training and experience with FMEA creation and deployment methodologies.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
Language Requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Conversational proficiency in other languages is a plus.
Physical Demands
The employee must sit for lengthy periods while operating a computer, frequently use their hands to type, handle objects, and communicate verbally. They may need to stand, walk, reach, and occasionally lift objects weighing up to twenty (20) pounds.
Work Environment
A work environment in a manufacturing plant, characterized by teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement, with exposure to machinery and potential hazards such as chemicals, heat, dust, or noise.
Personal Protective Equipment Requirements
ASTM F–2412–2005, ANSI Z41–1999, or ANSI Z41–1991 rated safety toe shoes, Clear ANSI Z87.1 safety-rated glasses, hearing protection, and compliance with JSA in specific areas.
