POSITION TITLE: Warehouse / Office Support Tech, Network Services Division
REPORTS TO: Operations Manager
SUMMARY
The Warehouse / Office Support Tech is responsible for project material procurement, staging, and returns for the Network Services Division. As well as a variety of administrative work. This position interacts with internal customers at all levels, as well as external suppliers to support solutions for all customer markets served.
Basic Requirements
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Must have good communications skills both written & verbal.
- Ability to carry heavy loads as needed.
- Carry and climb ladders as needed
- Provide a Valid driver’s license.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening and Physical.
- MUST HAVE a clean criminal background with NO FELONIES
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviews Technician schedule daily to plan project staging.
- Print out work orders and create project job packets.
- Verifies all project folders are in-hand prior to project start date.
- Stages project materials in NSD cage. Projects shall be clearly labeled with project number, project name, and Project Manager’s name.
- Check to see if material is on time from vendors if not email the PM and purchasing dept.
- Assists technicians as needed during project pick-up.
- Processes material pull sheets provided by Purchasing and issues materials to projects.
- Prints pick tickets for each project and verifies all materials on the project are issued. .
- Manually issues materials from inventory to projects.
- Dispositions all materials not used on projects.
o Vendor return – unissue materials from project once vendor return has been approved
o Return to inventory – unissue materials and place in inventory
- Coordinates activities involved with procuring goods and services, such as raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, and supplies.
- Obtains products and services from suppliers at the lowest cost consistent with consideration of quality, reliability, source, and urgency of need.
- Create and receive Purchase Orders for van stock replenishments.
- Verify that Purchase Orders placed are scheduled to be delivered on time.
- Coordinates annual van inventories and reconciles in ERP system.
- Order parts for the truck stock areas.
- Order parts for the warehouse stock.
- Help conduct quarterly vehicle inventories.
- Cycle count warehouse.
- Keep warehouse clean and organized at all time.
- Maintain test equipment calibration schedule and repairs as needed.
- Issue and receive test equipment to field technicians.
- Maintain updated vehicle fleet records and coordinate with vehicle drivers on maintenance schedules.
- Maintain technician uniform inventory and coordinate with uniform company on any issues, adds or deletes.
- Maintain technician time tracking system (Dayforce) daily.
