Job Summary:
Essential Functions:
- Product Maintenance: Monitor and analyze product performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to resolve product issues, working with quality assurance and manufacturing teams
- Design Changes: Develop and implement design modifications to improve product reliability and performance
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of design changes, test results, and product performance data
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with R&D, quality assurance, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless product updates and improvements
- Customer Support: Address customer inquiries and technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions
- Compliance: Ensure products meet industry standards and regulatory requirements
Required Skills:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Creo software, knowledge of connector design and manufacturing processes, and familiarity with industry standards.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with FMEA GD&T & RCCA
- Experience with tight tolerance injection molded product
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and industry standards
Experience:
- 5 years experience in product sustaining engineering, preferably in the connector industry
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
