We are currently seeking a Global HR Director to partner closely with the executive team to provide strategic and operational HR insights which impact the success of the global organization. This position is responsible for identifying, prioritizing and building organizational capabilities. Develops and implements action plans that meet the goals and objectives of the global business and improve employee satisfaction worldwide. Ensures the company is in compliance with current country, state and local laws and regulations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with global executive team to strategically plan HR initiatives that will benefit the company and encourage more efficient processes and human capital costs, and meet the business objectives.
- Develop and implement effective talent management practices by continuously optimizing workforce talent; ensure the right KPIs are in place to measure performance.
- Provide subject matter expertise on a global scale in areas such as: recruitment and retention, performance management, compensation, benefits, rewards and recognition, employee relations, learning and development, employment and labor law.
- Develop, implement, and execute HR policies and practices that enable business growth and effectiveness, including facilitate new hire and onboarding best practices.
- Maintain employee handbook and employee training protocols based on Amphenol company policies. Coordinate with Amphenol Corporate to administer or change benefits, health plans, retirement plans, etc. as needed.
- Manage all compensation, incentive and bonus plans globally. Benchmark industry trends and make recommendations to management team as needed.
- Maintain current knowledge and understanding of global laws, regulations, trends, current practices, and new developments regarding human resources. Mitigate legal risk to the organization.
- Lead and drive employee engagement together with climate and cultural change and integration related deliverables for the business units.
- Develop meaningful people analytics to drive and shape business decisions.
- Foster cross-functional relationships and ensure managers and employees are properly connected.
- Lead, develop and grow a team of HR professionals to deliver HR solutions efficiently, timely and in a cost -effective manner.
- Maintain compliance with all pertinent labor laws and negotiate complex employee relation issues.
- Participate in key projects within organization with cross-functional scope.
- Travel including international up to 25%.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, business administration, finance, or related field (Masters preferred).
- 8 years of management experience in strategic HR with a full understanding of all HR functions and best practice (global experience preferred).
- Comfortable working in a highly visible role.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Honest, ethical, and dependable with a positive, goal oriented attitude.
- Experienced in mediation and conflict resolution processes.
- Computer literate in Microsoft products and HRIS.
- A proven leader with strong interpersonal skills, keen to motivate and effectively educate department managers and employees regarding all HR matters.
