Position Summary : Engineering Technician – Extrusion & Materials
Location : Nashua, NH

We are currently seeking an Engineering Technician – Extrusion and Materials focus to join the Advanced Materials and Technology team. The position will be in Nashua, NH.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
As an Engineering Lab Technician, you are responsible for supporting continuous operation of research and development extrusion processes and materials testing.
- Responsible for the setup, operation, monitoring and tear down of extrusion line for wire and cable and medical extrusion processes.
- Maintains accurate documentation of repairs, maintenance schedules, extrusion run logs of the extrusion line and analytical equipment of the team
- Supports the Advanced Materials Engineers during the implementation and validation of new materials, extrusion processes, screening of new pieces of equipment and continuous improvement initiatives
- Supports raw material testing by performing sample preparation, measurements, and analysis as necessary (thermal analysis, rheology and mechanical testing)
- Plans, executes, and reports results of product level test and measurement methods
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during testing and laboratory activity.
- Responsible for keeping the work area, machines, and tooling inventory clean and organized.
