Position: Supply Chain Analyst
Location: Valley Green, PA
Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEM’s globally. We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position summary:
Reporting to the Controller, the Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and enhancing supply chain operations for the Mezzanine Business Unit. This role will interact directly with suppliers globally and work closely with the various Mezzanine sites to optimize supply chain performance.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect and analyze data related to supply chain performance, including inventory levels, order fulfillment, lead times, and transportation costs. Generate regular reports and provide actionable insights for improvement.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained, while minimizing excess inventory. Work with the purchasing team to identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Identify areas for process improvement in procurement, distribution, and logistics. Recommend and implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Demand Forecasting: Collaborate with sales and production teams to forecast demand and align supply chain activities accordingly. Ensure alignment with overall business goals and strategies.
- Vendor Management: Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and products. Maintain effective communication to address issues or delays.
- Logistics & Transportation: Analyze logistics data to improve delivery times, reduce costs, and ensure the efficient flow of goods from suppliers to warehouses and customers.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess supply chain processes and suggest improvements. Support cross-functional teams in implementing best practices and achieving operational goals.
- Compliance & Documentation: In coordination with the logistics and the local trade compliance team, ensure all supply chain activities are compliant with governmental and/or industry regulations and company policies. Maintain proper documentation for audits and reviews.
- Tariffs: Track and analyze global tariff impacts on supply chain operations, ensuring that changes are identified, communicated, and addressed to minimize costs and risks associated with global trade.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or in a similar role within supply chain management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across various teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory management practices.
- Ability to collaborate with multi-department teams
- Well-developed organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills, advanced excel skills, and solid written and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP) or similar.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with demand planning and forecasting techniques.
- Experience in international logistics and managing global supply chains.
- Experience in managing trade compliance, including understanding customs regulations and trade agreements.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX for supply chain management, including modules for inventory, procurement, and logistics management.
- Fluent in Mandarin
