Job Summary
The Application Engineer I will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, and implementation of technical systems. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities
- Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.
- Prepare cost estimates for non-technical projects by studying blueprints, plans, and related customer documents, consulting with engineers, managers, and other personnel.
- Maintain responsibility for samples, including breakdowns, pinouts, pictures, and logging into the system.
- Design basic AutoCAD drawings.
- Create Epicor parts that have been built or ordered before.
- Liaise with Sales/Customers to assist with new quotes and questions regarding design.
- Respond to queries from the Buildshop and Purchasing departments.
- Involved in the non-complicated order process, including drawing checks and updates.
