Job Summary
Perform product testing & validation to customer & industry specifications. responsible for maintaining testing processes, as well as recording & analyzing results gathered during product development and production.
Job Responsibilities
- Working knowledge of inspection processes and lab methods
- Compile and analyze test information to determine operating efficiency of process or equipment and to diagnose malfunctions
- Confer with engineering to conduct analysis, interpret results, or perform nonstandard tests
- Interpret engineering drawings, catalog specifications, customer drawings, & industry standards.
- Perform routine scheduled qualification testing for military certification.
- Assemble and test samples based on applicable specifications.
- Prepare test solutions, compounds, and reagents for laboratory testing
- Improve current processes to meet testing requirements
- Monitor processes to foresee / identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions
- Inventory & requisition tools, equipment and supplies for departmental activities
- Mentor Quality Inspectors on inspection techniques
- Determine the sequence which testing should be performed when not specified
- Periodically audit processes for effectiveness
- Coordinate Source Inspection with third parties
- Assist in technical reviews.
- Maintain document control.
- Assist in the calibration program.
- Protect themselves and their co-workers by adhering to all company safety & health policies.
- Identify hazards in the workplace and report them to management and / or safety coordinator.
- Must work with the EHS department to ensure all local, state, and federal regulatory agencies requirements are met; OSHA, NFPA, DNR, EPA and Amphenol sustainability practices.
- Must work with the Quality department to ensure all quality standards are met for AS9100 certification.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Engineering and Technology - Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
