Position : General Manager
Salary : $120k
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible to lead the safe operation of the facility in accordance with the company’s overall safety goals and desires.
- Set financial goals and metrics and maximize financial returns on capital resources and human resources through well planned operations and long-term cost controls.
- Monitor organizational structure, equipment and facility improvements that may need to be adjusted for ensuring ability to meet current company goals
- Plan, Direct and coordinate all aspects of the Norfolk facilities
- Review and approve all contracts, in conjunction with Vice President, and ensure contracts are well managed to maximize company profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all operations are performed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure that vendors and suppliers meet the needs of the company in performance and financial requirements.
- Screen, interview, hire and train manager and supervisors reporting to the General Manager
- Provide the required motivation, discipline, evaluations and feedback required for direct reports as well as their subordinates.
- Provide leadership and motivation to develop a team environment and maximize efforts of team behaviors.
- Can understand and execute business development within the area to include existing and new customers
