We are currently looking for an Insurance Department Manager to help establish our benefits platforms as one of the key reasons our clients love working with us.
Mission:
The mission for this role is to oversee and grow the benefits/insurance department programs as revenue-generating operations, enabling the department to scale and meet internal and client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grow the health plan participation through strengthening new and existing broker relationships and programs.
- Improve health plan utilization by identifying areas of risk and establishing creative solutions for customers and clients
- Improve the Net Promoter Score of the health plan through face-to-face interactions with clients and brokers, improvements to plan offerings etc.
- Provide leadership and motivation to the team.
- Ensure the department meets key performance indicators (KPIs) and priorities.
- Utilize financial and profitability expertise to manage department budgets and financial goals.
- Leverage expertise with benefit platforms to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains as well as to improve overall satisfaction with benefit programs.
- Display persuasive communication skills and diplomacy in working with clients, plan participants and broker relationships.
- Engage in effective and clear communication with all stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 year’s experience leading a benefits department or brokerage
- Previous sales / account management experience
- Demonstrated history of achieving growth KPI’s and priorities.
