Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Prepare financial statements (balance sheet, profit and loss statement, etc.) and assist with budget preparation.
- Process payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Handle all aspects of invoicing, billing, and vendor management.
- Assist with quarterly and year-end financial audits and reporting.
- Prepare tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Provide detailed financial reports to management and help guide decision-making.
- Ensure financial records are organized and up to date.
- Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive financial data.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
