Marketing & PR Intern
Amplicity Communications is a full-service marketing, PR/communications and consulting agency dedicated to building meaningful relationships that create connections between people, brands and culture that provide maximum impact for small to mid-size businesses to national and international brands.
We are looking for a PAID PR/Marketing summer Intern to join our growing team. As an intern for Amplicity Communications, you will learn about public relations, social media, influencer and digital marketing campaigns, in addition to general business practices. As part of the Amplicity team, you should be prepared to work hard and make contributions that directly affect the success of the team and help lay the foundation for successful public relations and marketing communications programs. This internship has the potential to grow into an agency position at the end of the internship and/or upon graduation, if applicable.

- You have basic knowledge of public relations, digital marketing, and social media campaigning

Responsibilities include:
- Brainstorm sessions with Creative and Account teams
- Media scanning
- Research (client and media) and reports (client and team)
- Creating and updating media and influence lists
- Writing (press material and pitches)
- Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns
- Create weekly monthly editorial calendars to promote agency and agency brands on various social media channels as well as media outreach opportunities
- Track and support social media engagement
- Ad hoc projects
- A minimum of 15 – 20 hours each week is required
Qualifications:
- A recent college graduate or junior/senior college student
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Prior PR/marketing experience is a plus
