What You Will Do
The Vice President of Product will report to the Chief Strategy Officer and play a pivotal role in creating and designing consumer engagement and loyalty solutions, along with messaging that delivers streamlined, packaged offerings to help our client partners attract, engage, and retain their cardholders and clients. The position requires deep expertise in the current consumer and business payments landscapes and the ability to translate that knowledge into the design and implementation of new competitive products and product enhancements to expand our loyalty and engagement capabilities. This person will partner cross-functionally with Technology, Sales and Client Services, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, Compliance, and Business Operations teams, including senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
How Will You Contribute
- Develop and continuously refine a comprehensive product vision and strategy
- Own the assessment of the competitive Loyalty and Consumer Payments environments.
- Analyze market trends and stay abreast of all relevant competitive launches and evolving regulatory changes.
- Lead cross-functional efforts to design and launch new rewards and redemption products, identifying product gaps and generating ideas to expand market share, enhance customer experience, and drive growth for ampliFI and client partners.
- Ensure ampliFI’ s product line-up is well positioned for future growth by continuously evaluating existing product platform for improvement.
- Lead efforts with our business partners and business leaders to prepare the product development “new product assessment”, helping to negotiate and rationalize product objectives and terms across a diverse set of opinions via data-driven decisions
- Work closely with our Analytics and Finance teams to build out financial analyses providing insight into revenue and expense projections and overall profitability for products offerings.
- Manage product pipeline content and meet with internal stakeholders to communicate new product pipeline activities.
- Drive execution in product positioning to increase the adoption of our existing rewards and redemption products.
- Establish and operate against an aligned set of KPIs and Leading Indicators measuring product and business performance.
- Experience managing projects, identifying risks and dependencies, and identifying approaches to mitigate risk.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product development and management team.
- Planning and scheduling skills, ability to manage multiple priorities.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant work experience
- Minimum of 10-15 years of professional experience, including 3-5 years in loyalty engagement within the consumer and business payments space, focusing on product development, management, or strategy for a loyalty company, financial institution, or financial services company.
- Comprehensive understanding of B2B2C opportunities coupled with a reputation for being a collaborative team player who works effectively across an organization (Analytics/Marketing/Finance/Sales/Technology)
- A proven ability to convey complex concepts/ideas in a persuasive and content-oriented manner. Superior communication and presentation skills are a must.
- Ability to understand and translate client needs, market trends, competitive landscape, fintech, and primary service providers into clear product strategies and requirements.
- Reputation for being a collaborative and diplomatic team player with a proven ability to work effectively with internal and external business partners.
- Ability to lead and motivate a cross-section of teams to achieve timely and efficient execution of various projects.
- Capable of managing changing priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.

The compensation range listed below represents the potential salary for this role at the time of posting. However, the final salary may be higher or lower than the stated range, and this range may be adjusted in the future. An employee’s placement within the salary range will depend on various factors, including but not limited to: relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any applicable collective bargaining agreements, and the needs of the business or organization. The salary range for this role is $170,000-$190,000.
