Job Summary:
As a Public Relations and Communications Assistant - Entry Level, you will play a key role in supporting community and retail-based events, outreach campaigns, and engaging directly with the public. - Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for event attendees, answering questions, providing useful information, and creating a positive attendee experience.
- Promote Participation: Distribute promotional materials and encourage involvement in fundraising activities and events.
- Track Donations: Process donations and maintain accurate records of contributions to support fundraising goals.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside your team to execute events, meet objectives, and contribute to overall success.
- Feedback Collection: Gather insights from event attendees to improve future public relations efforts and event strategies.
- Training and Mentoring: Participate in training sessions and assist in the development of new team members.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor’s degree is a plus but not mandatory.
- Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong passion for public relations and supporting nonprofit causes.
