This role plays a critical part in gathering accurate and reliable data that drives our research and development efforts.
- Collect samples from designated locations according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Ensure proper handling and labeling of samples to maintain sample integrity and prevent cross-contamination.
- Prepare and package samples for transport to the laboratory, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sample collection, including location, time, and any relevant observations.
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while collecting samples.
- Collaborate with scientists and other team members to troubleshoot any issues related to sample collection and processing.
- Assist with data entry.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to be outdoors in multiple environments.
- Previous experience in a laboratory or field sampling environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be willing to travel within a 250-mile radius.
