What You Will Spark at Amplify

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Development Lead to lead implementation projects and deliver high-quality solutions aligned with SAP best practices. This role involves optimizing business processes, driving SAP S/4HANA adoption, aligning IT architecture with strategic goals, and leveraging the latest technologies like SAP Business AI to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

ABAP and Fiori Development:

• Design, develop, and test ABAP programs, including reports, interfaces, and enhancements.
• Develop and deploy Fiori applications, including UI5 and SAP Cloud Platform.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure ABAP and Fiori solutions meet business requirements.

Technical Leadership and Mentoring:

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior SAP team members.
• Mentor and train team members in SAP technical skills, including Basis, Security, ABAP & Fiori.
• Collaborate with SAP technical teams to ensure alignment with SAP technical strategies and best practices.

Project Management and Delivery:

• Manage and deliver SAP technical projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
• Collaborate with project managers and business stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet business requirements.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and of high quality.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP configurations, custom developments, and procedures.
• Generate regular reports on SAP system performance, user activity, and issue resolution for management review.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and identify areas for SAP-driven improvements.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure SAP solutions align with the strategic goals of the organization.

Custom Development and Integration:

• Develop custom ABAP programs, including function modules, classes, reports, and interfaces, while leveraging Core Data Services (CDS) views for optimized data. modeling and OData services for seamless integration with external applications.
• Collaborate across SAP modules, including MM, SD, WM/EWM, and FI/CO, to ensure cohesive functionality.

System Optimization and Maintenance:

• Analyze and optimize ABAP code for performance and maintainability.
• Oversee the deployment of developed solutions to production environments and provide ongoing maintenance and support, ensuring reliability and efficiency across systems.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing for all developed solutions.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables by adhering to best practices for performance, scalability, and compliance within the S/4HANA and SAP BTP platforms.

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or related degree.
• 8-10 years of experience in SAP technical roles, including ABAP, and Fiori.
• Strong customer focused attitude and high stress tolerance.
• ABAP Cloud development/BTP extension/BTP integration experience will be a plus.
• Experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration.
• Good understanding of the development of REST and SOAP APIs.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good presentation and communication skills.
• Practical experience in any programming languages (e.g. ABAP, HANA, Python, SQL, Java, HTML, JavaScript, etc.).
• A.I. knowledge is preferred.
• SAP certification is preferred.
• Fast learner, willing to find opportunities for improvement and innovations.

This position is domiciled in Byhalia, MS.
