What You Will Spark at Amplify

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr IT PLM Systems Engineer to architect and implement Product Lifecycle Management solutions that create a seamless digital thread across our engineering and manufacturing operations. In this role, you will drive digital transformation initiatives that enhance product development processes, reduce time-to-market, and ensure regulatory compliance while connecting product data across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

PLM Architecture & Implementation

• Design and deploy comprehensive PLM solutions that digitalize product lifecycle processes from concept to manufacturing.
• Develop system architecture, user roles, and data governance models to support secure and scalable PLM operations.
• Configure PLM modules for BOM management, change management, document control, and lifecycle workflows.
• Integrate PLM platforms with enterprise systems (ERP, MES, CAD, ALM) to establish a unified product data ecosystem.
• Lead implementation of best practices for engineering data management and collaboration.

Process Optimization & Analytics

• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to streamline product development processes.
• Optimize New Product Introduction (NPI) and Engineering Change Management (ECM) workflows.
• Implement PLM-driven solutions to improve product quality and accelerate time-to-market.
• Leverage data analytics to identify bottlenecks and recommend process optimization strategies.
• Ensure PLM systems comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements (ISO, FDA, APQP).
• Implement systems for product traceability, documentation, and compliance reporting.

Technical Leadership

• Lead PLM projects from requirements gathering through implementation and stabilization.
• Serve as the primary technical authority and subject matter expert for PLM across the organization.
• Act as key liaison between engineering, IT, and manufacturing to align PLM strategies with business needs.
• Manage relationships with PLM vendors and consultants during system implementations.
• Provide training and support to maximize user adoption and system effectiveness.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex PLM system issues that impact operations.
