We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr SAP Specialist -Plant Maintenance (PM) and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in analyzing business requirements, designing and implementing SAP solutions, and optimizing operational processes for manufacturing, quality, and maintenance functions. This position demands strong technical expertise, strategic problem-solving abilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include but are not limited to developing, implementing, managing and overseeing the maintenance processes within the SAP system and EHS, ensuring efficient equipment operation by implementing maintenance schedules, tracking equipment reliability, and minimizing downtime; key duties include maintaining master data, processing refurbishment activities, and integrating with other SAP modules to optimize plant resources and comply with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

SAP PM and EHS System Configuration and Maintenance

• Design and configure the SAP PM and EHS modules to align with business requirements, including setting up functional locations, equipment, work centers, data fields, workflows, reporting structures, and maintenance plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date master data within the SAP PM and EHS modules.
• Identify opportunities to optimize maintenance processes and implement system enhancements within SAP PM and EHS modules.

Maintenance Planning and Reporting

• Create and manage preventive maintenance schedules, including defining task lists, frequencies, and responsible personnel.
• Manage the lifecycle of maintenance work orders, from creation to completion, including assigning tasks, updating status, and tracking costs.
• Generate reports on key maintenance metrics like equipment reliability, downtime, and maintenance costs to identify areas for improvement.
• Coordinate data flow between SAP PM and other modules like Inventory Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), and Quality Management.

EHS Compliance and User Support

• Utilize SAP EHS tools to conduct risk assessments for potential environmental, health, and safety hazards within the workplace.
• Facilitate the process of recording and analyzing EHS incidents within the SAP system to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure the SAP EHS system is updated to maintain compliance with relevant environmental and safety standards.
• Provide training to end users on SAP PM and EHS functionalities and troubleshoot system issues.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of SAP PM and EHS functionalities.
