Overview:
The Inside Sales Manager develops and implements strategies for the Inside Sales team located in Northbrook, IL. This position focuses on coaching and developing sales rep talent through training, building an outbound sales machine, leveraging Salesforce, and automation tools.
While outbound efforts take priority, you will also collaborate with marketing on ongoing inbound initiatives, ensuring a well-rounded approach to pipeline growth. As part of a recognized and rapidly growing national brand, you’ll have a key voice with the executive team in our highly sales-focused organization and will play a pivotal role in growing and staffing a high-performing team.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading Inside Sales.
- Develop and optimize a scalable outbound sales engine using Salesforce, automation tools, and data analytics
- Manages the achievement of corporate objectives and sales quotas, within budgeted financial guidelines.
- Establish and track performance metrics and KPIs, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Maintain open communication between inside sales, marketing, and leadership to optimize strategy.
- Drive measurable results by continuously assessing, refining, and improving sales processes.
- Coaches and mentors Inside Sales to enhance their selling skills and ensure consistency.
- Ensures accuracy of weekly activity reports, audits commission and expense reports.
- Initiates, participates in, and supervises on-going training of assigned sales representatives in technical knowledge, competitive knowledge, and sales skills knowledge.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role within an Inside Sales team.
- Proven ability to build, develop, and scale a high-performing outbound sales team.
- Experience in PEO Industry (preferred).
- Expertise in outbound sales development processes, metrics, and best practices.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, automation tools, and leveraging data for decision-making.
- Experience in growing and staffing a team in an office setting while fostering a strong in-person culture.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Experience in a high-growth, highly sales-focused environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
