Position Overview:
This company is seeking a Lead AV Technician who will play a critical role in leading technical operations and driving the company’s growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of advanced AV systems, including Savant and Lutron technologies
- Oversee and mentor a team of technicians, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to best practices and company standards
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and contribute to process improvements
- Collaborate closely with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to client specifications
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact on job sites, managing client interactions professionally and efficiently
- Conduct site assessments, plan installations, and ensure all projects meet safety and quality standards
- Travel to job sites, primarily in Columbia, MO, and the Lake of the Ozarks area, with a company-provided vehicle
- Participate in weekly team meetings at the Columbia office to stay informed on project goals and progress
- Leadership and Team Management: Proven experience leading a team of technicians, managing workflows, and maintaining high performance
- Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with AV systems, particularly Savant and Lutron, with the ability to handle both setup and programming tasks
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in AV installations and a strong understanding of networking in AV systems
- Personality and Culture Fit: A leader who embodies perseverance, integrity, and a desire for growth. The ideal candidate is proactive, communicative, and committed to excellence
- Flexibility and Willingness to Travel: Ability to travel to job sites and work directly with clients, demonstrating professionalism and expertise
