Job Overview
This integrator is seeking a Senior AV Programmer/Tech Lead to play a critical role in both hands-on programming and leadership. You’ll work with Control4 systems, guide a team of technicians, and collaborate with clients to deliver top-tier solutions. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills, as you will be a primary point of contact for clients and a mentor for junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Lead AV programming tasks, specializing in Control4 systems and potentially Josh AI
- Oversee and guide a team of technicians, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet the company’s high standards
- Ensure seamless integration of home automation and AV systems, with a focus on client satisfaction and technical precision
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop tailored AV solutions
- Mentor and support junior and mid-level team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
- Hands-on problem solving, assisting with both programming and technical tasks when required
Qualifications
- 5 years of AV programming experience, particularly with COntrol4 systems (Josh AI experience is a plus)
- Proven leadership experience in managing and guiding AV teams
- Expertise in AV systems integration, including home automation, audio-visual equipment, and control systems
- Client-facing experience with strong communication skills to clearly explain technical solutions
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset
- A growth mindset, with a desire to pursue additional certifications and leadership opportunities
