NOW HIRING CANNABIS TECH
Location : Halfmoon, NY
Shift : 1st shift 8am-4pm
Payrate : $20 / hour
The Role
Technicians are responsible for the post-harvest handling of all cannabis products.
Duties performed include the trimming, weighing, packaging, and labeling of all products from our facility.
Sample, test and prep Cannabis products.
Responsible for operating a variety of automated sorting, batching, and packaging machinery.
Maintaining quality control by visually inspecting cannabis products and packaging to ensure consistency in product standards; ensuring labeling and product counts are accurate.
Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform reaching, grasping, bending, stooping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
Must be able to sit and / or stand for extended periods of time while maintaining focus.
Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds AND must be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with the product.
Qualifications
Basic weights and measurement skills and ability to operate a scale.
Must have the ability to focus on a task for long periods of time.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand for extended periods of time during shift.
Fine motor skills and ability to use hands and fingers to precisely and accurately fill, package, and label products
Close visual acuity in order to read fine print on product labels and equipment screens
