Pay : Starting around $28 / hour depending on experience and expertise< / div>

Objective / Scope : < / b>< / div>
To perform a series of activities and tasks related to maintaining and repairing dies and line dies for metal stamping processes. This includes troubleshooting problems with these dies while they are in presses until good parts are produced. All aspects of the work required to maintain repair and troubleshoot problems with dies for the metal stamping process< / div>

Resposibilities : < / b>< / div>
- Troubleshoot problems and repair stamping tools and dies in the press< / li>
- Perform all required tool repairs and tooling predictive and preventative maintenance< / li>
- Keep accurate tooling processing and troubleshooting records and paperwork< / li>
- Order replacement parts and components for the mainenance and repairs< / li>
- Assure the completion of scheduled die repairs to meet production schedules< / li>
- Assis in managing the build / purchase of required supplies and tool details< / li>
- Assis in managing predictive and preventative maintenance of stamping dies< / li>
- Assis in managing the safety cleanliness and orderliness of the tool troubleshooting and die repair area< / li>
- Promote continuous improvement problem solving and error proofing of production tooling and processes< / li> < / ul> < / div>Education / Skills : < / b>< / div>
- High school diploma or equivalent< / li>
- Journeymens license or equivalent (or 5 years experience in the trade with an emphasis on metal stampings produced from progressive dies)< / li>
- Ability to operate overhead crane< / li>
- Ability to operate Forklift< / li>
- Technical skills : be able to read blue prints to use precise measuring tools and to operate standard tool room equipment< / li>
- Basic langauge skills< / li>
- Basic mathematics skills< / li>
- Basic computer skills< / li> < / ul> < / div>Physical Demands / Work environment< / b>< / div>
- Frequently required to be on your feet so be able to stand for long periods of time< / li>
- Must have strong use of hands< / li>
- Must be able to routinely bend reach kneel twist pull shove lift up to 30 pounds< / li>
- Have good vision and hearing< / li>
- Generally higher noise levels in the work environment< / li> < / ul>
