Pay Rate: $17.00 - $18 per hour (depending on experience)

This position works closely with the supervisor and plays a key role in supporting mold and die changes. If you have experience in mold setting, we want to hear from you!
As a Jr. Mold Setter / Cell Tech, you'll assist in maintaining and operating plastic injection machines, ensuring they run smoothly throughout the production cycle. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with mold and die changes, ensuring timely and efficient completion of scheduled changes.
- Expertly set up molds and related components, including watering, knockout, and hot runner setup.
- Adjust molding press parameters according to process verification sheets.
- Perform mold pulling and resetting for repairs and maintenance.
- Safely load and unload mold-carrying trucks.
- Install and remove auxiliary equipment from the molding floor.
- Keep the mold storage area organized and stocked with supplies.
- Accurately complete all required paperwork, in accordance with company procedures.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards, including OSHA regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment with high housekeeping standards.
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years of experience in plastic injection molding and mold setting.
- Strong commitment to safety and the ability to work within safety guidelines.
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record.
- Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Effective communication skills and a willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Proficiency in operating powered lift equipment (e.g., forklifts, hoists, cranes).
