What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Builder position at Amplitude HR?
Machine Builder
Walled Lake, MI
1st shift Monday-Friday
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL :
Love to get their hands dirty, be known as a "gearhead",
Be able to prioritize and complete tasks to meet assigned deadlines,
Be a self-starter, able to complete tasks using their knowledge and skill,
Work as part of a team with other assemblers, electricians and engineers to meet build requirements
Has good mechanical skills, light hydraulic and electrical is a plus but not needed
THE MACHINE BUILDER WILL :
Install and assemble components and sub-assemblies onto machines according to blueprints and diagrams with instruction provided from experienced staff assisting in builds
Assemble a variety of different machines according to specifications.
Drill and tap holes in specified locations for mounting control units using and tools, drill press and other applicable tools.
REQUIREMENTS :
High school diploma a plus but not necessary
3-5 years machine assembler
Have own tools
Lift over 40 lbs
Ability to read assembly drawings
Work with team members, this is a non-union and non-automotive facility
