Position Overview :
Amplytics is on the lookout for a talented and experienced Data Visualization Specialist. In this role, you will partner closely with clients to uncover their business objectives and user needs. Your expertise will enable you to design data visualizations that are both informative and engaging, making complex data easy to navigate. Leveraging Power BI, you will craft interactive dashboards while utilizing wireframing tools such as Miro, Figma, or Sketch to create intuitive layouts focused on outstanding user experience (UX) design principles. This position strikes a crucial balance between data expertise and UX / UI design, ensuring that our visualizations excel in accuracy, effectiveness, and aesthetics.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate closely with clients to collect data requirements and deeply understand user workflows, business objectives, and key use cases for dashboards and reports.
- Implement UX design principles to create Power BI dashboards that are user-centered, visually captivating, and intuitive for a seamless user experience.
- Develop and iterate on wireframes, mockups, and prototypes utilizing tools like Miro, Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, with an emphasis on layout, interaction flow, and usability.
- Design visually appealing Power BI dashboards and reports, applying the principles of color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy to boost user engagement.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to collect feedback on dashboard designs, refining visuals based on insights from end-users to enhance clarity and functionality.
- Work collaboratively with data analysts and engineers to ensure dashboards are constructed on high-quality, clean data and align with the UX design.
- Educate and guide clients on the best practices for interpreting and interacting with visualizations, enhancing their ability to utilize the Power BI dashboards effectively.
- Stay informed on UX design trends, Power BI enhancements, and data visualization best practices, employing innovative methods to elevate user experiences.
