Medical Billing Specialist

Full Job Description

We are seeking a full time, qualified and dedicated medical billing specialist to join our team. Responsibilities include billing of medical services from different specialties to various funding sources including commercial payers, Medicare, Medicaid, etc; management of outstanding claims and accounts receivable; posting payments; use and maintenance of billing software/EMR platforms; identifying and finding solutions to problems regarding billing, compliance, and other work flow issues throughout the billing process. This position affords the ability to grow and advance in a dynamic working environment.

Qualifications

· A minimum of 1 year of experience as a medical biller or similar role

· Medical billing or coding certification preferred

· Understanding of medical billing platforms and software

· Detail oriented

· Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently

· Ability to adapt to a dynamic and varying environment

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
