Key Responsibilities:
- Establish data standards and act as the subject matter expert of IT and service delivery data sets.
- Evaluate networks and systems from a security standpoint.
- Analyze log data from various network components and operating systems, and packet capture data.
- Utilize a background in systems engineering with network analysis/engineering.
- Lead physical data center to cloud migration projects, ensuring completion on time and within budget.
- Upgrade outdated security solutions with modern endpoint security suites to reduce false positives and identify unknown threats.
- Implement vulnerability management programs to eliminate high and critical vulnerabilities on public-facing assets.
- Establish data standards and troubleshoot issues.
5 years of experience with the following:
- Security Development and Operations (DevSecOps)
- Expertise with Splunk
- Proficiency in Scripting Tools: Python, Shell Script, or Ansible
- Cloud Security Controls and Implementation
- PKI Implementation
- STIG Compliance and Vulnerability Management
- Virtualization Experience: VDI & VMware
- Cloud Experience: Public, private, and hybrid (AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc.)
Preferred Certifications:
- CISSP
- AWS Certified Security Specialty
- CCSP
- CISM
- Top Secret Security Clearance-SCI Eligible
