Responsibilities : Role Summary
Assembler Mainframe Senior Developer is responsible for installing, maintaining, upgrading, and supporting various system software products for TNTs z / OS Operating System environment. They require skills including, but not limited to Assembler, COBOL, PL / 1 DB2 database and related tools JCL along with CICS expertise
Key Responsibilities :
Work on Assembler and PL / 1 program to modify, test and debug programs efficiently.
Help build a Test environment for the legacy Assembler based application Work on primitive CICS systems and recreate them in lower environment.
Necessary Qualifications
Skills Required
10 years of experience required in the following areas
IBM Mainframe experience
Strong Assembler programming / debugging skills
COBOL programming language
PL / 1 Programming Language
CICS
DB2 and Strong SQL Skills
Experience in developing Stored procedures is a plus
Good knowledge and hands-on experience on IBM utilities, FileAid, QMF, SPUFI
Knowledge of DFSORT, Version control tool
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
Independently makes sound, timely and fact-based decisions
Github / IDz experience is plus
