Key Responsibilities:
• Business & System Analysis:
o Collaborate with business stakeholders, traders, portfolio managers, risk teams, and IT to understand business processes and system requirements.
o Analyze and document functional and non-functional requirements for capital markets applications.
o Identify gaps and recommend improvements in trading platforms, risk management systems, and post-trade processing.
• Solution Design & Implementation:
o Work with developers, architects, and QA teams to design and implement solutions.
o Support system integration, UAT, and production deployments.
o Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry best practices.
• Stakeholder Management & Communication:
o Act as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and external vendors.
o Translate complex business needs into clear and concise technical documentation.
o Conduct workshops, presentations, and training sessions for end users.
• Data & Reporting:
o Analyze market data, trade execution reports, and risk exposure to provide insights.
o Work with BI/reporting tools to enhance data-driven decision-making.
• Regulatory & Compliance:
o Ensure solutions align with industry regulations (e.g., SEC, FINRA, Basel III, MiFID, Dodd-Frank).
o Support audits and risk assessments.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Experience: 7 years as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably in Capital Markets, Investment Banking, or Asset Management.
• Capital Markets Knowledge: Strong understanding of equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX, trade lifecycle, order management systems (OMS), and execution management systems (EMS).
• Technical Skills:
o Experience with trading platforms, market data feeds, FIX protocol, and risk management systems.
o Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
o Familiarity with APIs, scripting (Python, VBA), and cloud technologies is a plus.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of financial regulations and risk frameworks.
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. CFA, FRM, or MBA is a plus.
