About The Role

Ampure is looking for a driven and analytical FP&A Summer Intern to support a high-impact project focused on improving reporting efficiency and evaluating scalable software solutions. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial planning & analysis while leading meaningful work that contributes to our long-term finance transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end evaluation of FP&A software tools (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive, Planful), including research, demos, and fit assessments.
• Revamp the monthly and quarterly reporting and forecasting process with a focus on automation and scalability.
• Build dashboards and data visualizations in Excel using advanced functions and Power Query.
• Analyze current workflows, identify bottlenecks, and propose optimized solutions for reporting mechanisms.
• Present a final proposal with recommendations on software investment to leadership.
• Work closely with the FP&A team through weekly 1:1s and receive daily mentorship and feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current MBA student or recent graduate with a focus in Finance, Accounting, or Business Analytics.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, including Power Query, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
• Familiarity with FP&A/CPM tools such as Anaplan, Adaptive, or Planful.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
